Kern DLS - Document Logistics Systems
State-of-the-art robot technology allows additional automation and therefore improves the production logistics. This results in a massive increase in production and in cost savings. The Kern 60 is available with different capacities and can be combined with the Kern 3500 document inserting system.
The K60 enveloping solution from Kern was launched in 2001 and is an innovative automated robotic process for handling envelopes into post box trays. It is an ideal partner for the K3000.
Originally developed for use at Deutsche Post, the K60 is part of Kern’s development of robotic mailroom solutions.
The K60 is a reusable tray cycler which unloads manufacturers’ envelopes directly into the mailer and then uses post boxes to transport finished mail to the sorting office.
A truly European solution, the K60 was developed by Kern in partnership with AWA Couvert GmbH and Winkeler & Duennebier AG.
